Call for Tutorials, Workshops & Demonstrations

SoutheastCon is the annual IEEE Region 3 conference that promotes all aspects of theories and applications of engineering disciplines. Sponsored by the IEEE Region 3, this event will attract researchers, professionals, and students from across the globe and especially from the southeastern U.S. The conference will feature tutorial sessions and workshops along with the Technical Program.

Areas of Interest

Proposals are solicited for tutorials, workshops and demonstrations (TWD) for IEEE SoutheastCon 2022. While TWD proposals for any topic will be considered, the following topics are of particular interest:

  • Power

  • Communications & Electromagnetics

  • Computing Systems

  • Signal Processing

  • Microelectronics, Devices & Sensors

  • Artificial Intelligence & Predictive Modeling

  • Cybersecurity

  • Software Engineering

  • Miscellaneous

Proposal Submission Guidelines

Proposals should be no longer than two pages and should include:

  • Abstract (limit 500 words)

  • Outline of the TWD

  • Proposed length of the TWD (1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours or 8 hours or another duration)

  • Resume(s) of the instructor(s)

  • Budget including fees to be requested from attendees and required by instructor(s)

  • Any other pertinent information or clarification
